This one is for the partners who are in charge of the family meal planning! Grocery shopping isn't necessarily a two person job. It totally can be, but usually you just have one person go to grab the needs of the family and bing bam boom, it's done. Maybe the parents make the list together, but usually only one of you goes out to actually do the shopping part. Nowadays, both should really go. Why? Well, it's not because it takes more effort now. It's mostly for emotional support, because that cha-ching is going to be really loud at the cash register these days. It's no secret groceries have gone up immensely in cost. You want to get some toilet paper, eggs, and milk for your family? BOOM, $60. That used to be the cost of one person's entire grocery list for the week. Now, that is just the total of a few items.
